"Training with gymGO works best for my budget and schedule."

Sign up and create a profile

First things first, sign up for gymGO.

Next, you'll create your profile. This is the first interaction you have with clients, so you want to make a good impression. Your profile should include a professional photo, background information on you as a trainer, your training style and approach, certifications and awards, and anything else you feel is pertinent.

This is where you will set your hourly rate. For more information, see our trainer FAQ.

Invite your clients

Now it's time to bring your clients onto the platform. Navigate to the "Invite Clients" section of the gymGO app and enter your client's email address. They will get a personalized email invitation to join gymGO.

When your clients accept, they will be assigned to you. That means they will not be able to see other trainers on the platform, or join any other trainer's sessions.

Make sure to notify your clients by phone, email, or text message and tell them that you're using gymGO and they should keep an eye out for the email.

You will get an email from us when your client accepts the invitation and signs up for gymGO.

Train your clients

Now your clients are on the platform. Use the messaging feature to align dates and times, and let your client know you've created a session just for them.

A "best practice" is to put your client's name in the session title, so they know that session is just for them.

10 minutes before your session starts, you can log on. You should test your system prior to joining to make sure everything's working properly. During this "warm up" period, you can talk with your client, gather any necessary equipment, and see a preview of some of the exercises.

You'll receive payment via PayPal 48 hours after your session is complete.

Build your profile

Create a more personal experience by building a client profile. This helps trainers get to know a little more about you prior to your first session.

Sharing more about yourself helps your trainer better monitor your activity and tailor your workouts for the best results.

Find a Trainer

Next, search the gymGO trainer directory of hundreds of fitness professionals to find the one for you! Is it their certifications, experience, or the smile? Whatever you're looking for in a trainer, we have them in our directory.

Once you have found the trainer for you, send them a message from their profile page letting them know you are interested in fitness training services. When the trainer responds - the journey begins!

Join your session

10 minutes before your session starts, you can log on. You should test your system prior to joining to make sure everything's working properly. During this "warm up" period, you can talk with your trainer, gather any necessary equipment, and see a preview of some of the exercises. As you become familiar with the system, trainers and workouts, you may choose to join in just as the session is starting.

Your session will last 30 or 60 minutes, depending on the type of workout.

1-ON-1 AND GROUP SESSIONS
