"Training on the gymGO platform helped grow my client base and my income."

Sign up and create a profile

First things first, sign up for gymGO.

Next, you'll create your profile. This is the first interaction you have with clients, so you want to make a good impression. Your profile should include a professional photo, background information on you as a trainer, your training style and approach, certifications and awards, and anything else you feel is pertinent.

This is where you will set your hourly rate. For more information, see our trainer FAQ.

Invite your clients

Now it's time to bring your clients onto the platform. Navigate to the "Invite Clients" section of the gymGO app and enter your client's email address. They will get a personalized email invitation to join gymGO.

When your clients accept, they will be assigned to you. That means they will not be able to see other trainers on the platform, or join any other trainer's sessions.

Make sure to notify your clients by phone, email, or text message and tell them that you're using gymGO and they should keep an eye out for the email.

You will get an email from us when your client accepts the invitation and signs up for gymGO.

Train your clients

Now your clients are on the platform. Use the messaging feature to align dates and times, and let your client know you've created a session just for them.

A "best practice" is to put your client's name in the session title, so they know that session is just for them.

10 minutes before your session starts, you can log on. You should test your system prior to joining to make sure everything's working properly. During this "warm up" period, you can talk with your client, gather any necessary equipment, and see a preview of some of the exercises.

You'll receive payment via PayPal 48 hours after your session is complete.
